BODYGUARD 38 2.0 Series Revolver: Everyday Carry Essentials

The Smith & Wesson BODYGUARD line has become a standard of EDC handguns.  Lightweight, reliable, and easy to carry, these guns are an excellent option for our everyday carry. Today, Smith & Wesson has announced that it has expanded its popular line of small-frame revolvers to include a new, non-laser M&P Bodyguard 38 revolver.

BODYGUARD 38 2.0 Series Revolver – New From Smith & Wesson

The Smith & Wesson BODYGUARD 38 2.0 revolver is designed for dependable personal protection in a compact, lightweight platform. Chambered in .38 S&W Special +P, this double-action-only revolver features a 1.875˝ stainless steel barrel and a one-piece aluminum alloy upper frame, balancing durability with reduced weight for everyday carry. An ambidextrous, center-mounted cylinder release supports intuitive operation from either hand, while the machined U-notch rear sight paired with an orange dot front sight enhances visibility and target acquisition.

Feature Rich

The revolver is well-designed and includes several great features. This starts with an ambidextrous cylinder release. This center-mounted cylinder release allows the cylinder to be opened easily with either hand, supporting intuitive operation for right or left-handed shooters. S&W also focused on the sights, providing an enhanced sight picture. A machined U-notch rear sight paired with an orange dot front sight improves target acquisition in varied lighting conditions. Lastly, they designed it with an enhanced boot-style grip. This improved grip ergonomics enhances control and shootability while maintaining a compact footprint for concealed carry.
