Another week, another absolutely dominant showing by Tennessee commit, David Gabriel Georges.
Here at OutKick, I like to spend my Saturdays A) talking about college football, but B) giving the high school fellas some shine. I love high school football. I believe it’s the backbone of America.
You can tell a lot about a town based on the size and location of the local high school football stadium. Is it smack-dab in the middle of town? Can it seat more than 10,000? Do the streets get so clogged on game nights they have cops out directing traffic?

If the answer to any of those is ‘yes,’ you’re in a great town. It’s all I need to know. Salt of the earth people. My people.
Anyway, back to David Gabriel Georges. This is the second time I’ve featured the senior running back this season, and for good reason. He’s an absolute monster.
He went viral in Baylor School’s season-opening game against Brentwood, and he made more noise in last night’s win over Louisville Trinity.
And by “made more noise,” I mean the future Volunteer ran for 316 yards and five touchdowns, and hit more than 21 MPH on one particular touchdown run that left fans speechless.

David Gabriel Georges is the real deal
Lordy. This kid has got it. I covered a lot of high school football back in the day. A lot. Sometimes, you can just see when someone has it.
I believe you’re seeing that this season with David Gabriel Georges. He’s a 5-star running back on the same team in which Peyton Manning’s son is a backup, and is seemingly impossible to take down. Somehow, he’s only ranked No. 2 in the country at running back.
Nonsense. Like most rankings, that’s hogwash. Don’t see how that’s even possible. Earlier this year, folks on the internet compared him to Derrick Henry during his dominant tenure at Yulee High School down here in Florida.
I’m not sure I’d go that far, but … it’s not the craziest comp in the world:
