U.S. War Hawk: We Will “Make a TON Of Money” Off The War

U.S. War Hawk: We Will “Make a TON Of Money” Off The War

United States senator and infamous war hawk Lindsey Graham has said that the ruling class is going to “make a ton of money” off the war it just started with Iran. If the U.S. is successful in toppling the Iranian government, the U.S. will control almost a third of the world’s oil and make record profits.

Graham has already said that the cost of the attacks on Iran were the “best money ever spent,” arguing that the purpose is to prevent the country from developing nuclear weapons. Iran has repeatedly denied that it intends to create nukes and insists that its nuclear program is peaceful.

So was this all about the oil? It seems like it’s a possibility. Much like the regime change in Venezuela, it was sold to the public as a way to slow “narco terrorism,” however, it was fairly obvious that the U.S. wanted the oil previously controlled by Caracas.

“Venezuela and Iran have 31% of the world’s oil reserves. We’re going to have a partnership with 31% of the known reserves. This is China’s nightmare. This is a good investment,” Graham said.

Graham made the comments as global oil prices surged past $100 per barrel, which U.S. ruler Donald Trump dismissed as “a very small price to pay” for the US-Israeli war against Iran, which was launched on February 28th.

The ruling class is incredibly unconcerned with the unprecedented economic destruction it is forcing on the American public in order to control more of the globe’s oil.

“When this regime goes down, we’re going to have a new Middle East, we are going to make a ton of money. Nobody will threaten the Strait of Hormuz again,” Graham said. He also claims that the U.S. will install a “friendly” government in Tehran.

According to a report by RT, Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz in response to the US‑Israeli attacks and has struck several tankers attempting to transit the crucial shipping route, leading to further disruptions in global energy flows. The Iranian military has also launched retaliatory strikes against American bases in the Gulf states.

Now That Iran Has Closed The Strait Of Hormuz, How High Will The Price Of Oil Go?

Trump has demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” as Iran vows not to bow to the demands of the U.S.
