Thousands Of Russian Sign Up To Go To War Every Day: Conscription Unnecessary

Russia has just announced that conscription in the former Soviet Union is “unnecessary” as thousands of people sign up to fight in the war every day, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. The country continues to rely on a strong stream of volunteers willing to join the military while Ukraine fights dissenters and forces its slaves to kill or be killed.

Ukraine’s top general also told its troops that there was an almost zero percent chance that they would survive if they were drafted into the war.

Ukraine’s Top General Tells Troops There Is “Almost No Chance of Survival”

In an interview with RIA Novosti on Saturday, as reported by RT, Peskov reiterated “that there is no talk of mobilization at all… There is no need.” Peskov added that Russian citizens “are very actively signing contracts with the Defense Ministry,” adding that the government has developed a program that provides substantial payments for those willing to enlist. “These people are numerous – hundreds sign contracts every day and join the special military operation.”

The volunteers undergo rigorous training before being sent to the front lines of battle.

Russia announced a partial mobilization in the fall of 2022, calling up some 300,000 reservists to man the Ukraine conflict front line. Despite rumors circulating in recent months of a new mobilization campaign, none have been announced while Russian officials have repeatedly insisted that there is no need for such measures.

Back in August, Russian President Vladimir Putin made it clear that a draft is not going to be needed for Russia to come out on top in this war. He noted a significant increase in volunteers willing to defend the country after Ukraine launched its large-scale incursion into the border Kursk Region, during which multiple attacks on civilians were recorded.
