Trijicon’s LPVO game is strong. They have an exceptional lineup to fit just about any shooter or application. One specific optic in this category is the Ascent. The Ascent line has proven to be reliable, accurate, and built with great class. Earlier this year, Trijicon announced the expansion of the Ascent line.

Trijicon Ascent – Two New Choices

Trijicon has added two new models to the Ascent series of riflescopes: the 1-6×24 and 4-16×50. These new options provide shooters with versatile magnification ranges. The Ascent delivers the same fully multi-coated broadband anti-reflective glass found in the AccuPoint and Tenmile series for excellent light transmission. It provides brilliant edge-to-edge clarity. With a mid-range price point, these models are a lightweight addition to any tactical platform. They come with a matte finish and aggressive knurling for responsive adjustments. An easy focus-eyepiece and extra-wide field of view allow for maximum situational awareness. It enables fast scanning, detection, and engagement of targets.

Easy Adjustment

The Ascent features easy-grip, low-capped adjusters that provide crisp and precise windage and elevation adjustments. These are in ¼ MOA clicks. It offers up to 100 MOA of adjustment in the 1-4×24 and 1-6×24 models. Meanwhile, it offers 70 MOA in the 3-12×40 and 4-16×50 models. Capped turrets prevent accidental shift of zero. The versatile magnification ranges are an excellent choice for high-volume range days or competition. Likewise, all Ascent models come with an intuitive MOA-based BDC Target Holds second-focal-plane reticle. This allows for quick target acquisition and shot placement.

Backed by the Science of Brilliant testing methodology that Trijicon takes to every product, Ascent riflescope models are Alaska-to-Africa tested. This ensures performance from -20°F to 140°F, giving shooters supreme confidence in any climate. Each model is Solid Zero Tested and subjected to 5,000 rounds of heavy cartridge testing. This ensures no reticle shift. Drop Testing guarantees that every bump and bruise won’t result in a warranty claim. Ascent models are shock & vibration tested to take on recoil and the abuse of the field without failure. Finally, all models are Immersion Tested and dry-nitrogen-filled to eliminate internal fogging. This is effective even in the harshest environments.
