The Legacy

The Model 110, introduced in 1958, holds the distinction of being the longest continuously produced bolt-action rifle in America. Designed by Nicholas L. Brewer, it was initially chambered in .30-06 Springfield and .270 Winchester. This offered hunters a robust, yet affordable option, priced at just $109.75 when it was introduced. Over the years, the Model 110 has continued to evolve. For example, it introduced innovations such as the AccuTrigger, AccuFit, and AccuStock systems. These features enhance its performance and user customization.

“The 110 is our longest standing rifle, and for good reason,” said Beth Shimanski, Vice President of Marketing at Savage Arms. “This model has helped make Savage Arms what it is today, and it will be a part of the future of Savage for a very long time. Building on the next evolution of the AXIS that was launched in 2024, the new era of the 110 exemplifies Savage’s ability to maintain our standing as a heritage brand while staying at the forefront of innovation.”

The New Era

The upgraded platform features the all-new AccuFit V2, powered by the Quick Set Dial (QSD system, which makes quick adjustments effortless. Furthermore, the integrated, toolless design lets you fine-tune your length of pull and comb height at any time. No hassle, no tools. Fit for you, giving you confidence in every shot. Additionally, some models will also offer users the option to change their pistol grip size. Options in small, medium, and large grip modules make this stock truly fit for anyone.

Manufacturing advancements include a “vertical cut” process in the receiver’s bolt travel. This results in a smoother and more precise bolt action. The bolt head now features an improved extractor claw for better case contact. In addition, a dual ejector system ensures reliable ejection.

A new synthetic magazine, compatible with older 110 models, offers improved feeding and handling. The second-generation AccuTrigger has been refined to prevent lock-up on the AccuRelease blade if the trigger weight is set too light. Nevertheless, it retains its ease of adjustment and crisp break.
