The Smith & Wesson Shield has been one of the most successful carry pistols to ever hit the market. Its compact size, mixed with solid performance, has made it a go-to for hundreds of thousands of people. In the past, Smith & Wesson has partnered with the team at Davidsons to produce some exceptional versions of popular S&W guns. They have now teamed back up to create a special Shield. The Smith & Wesson Shield X.

Smith & Wesson Shield X – Special Models

Borrowing aesthetics from the M&P SPEC V series, these new exclusives give the blue PVD finish treatment to both the controls as well as the 4.1-inch 1/2×28 threaded, fluted barrels. The optic-cut slide has been redesigned with a new serration design, gray Armonite finish, and features S&W’s ClearSight slide cut that diverts gases forward and away from the optic. This completely redesigned slide is exclusive to Davidson’s.
