SHOT Show 2025 may be a couple of months behind us now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on an exclusive Benchmade from the big event. KnivesShipFree has new stock of the SHOT Show limited edition Mini Freek up for grabs right now.

The Mini Freek is part of the Benchmade’s illustrious no-nonsense everyday carry knife lineup, standing alongside proven company veterans like the Griptilian, Bugout, and Barrage. Like those pieces, it is a concise encapsulation of Benchmade’s house style, with a robust but stylish blade, dependable ergos, and, of course, the Axis Lock mechanism housed beneath the scales.

The scales on this limited edition Mini Freek are the star of the show. They’re made from amber-colored Ultem, a plastic that sees use in diverse fields but, in the knife world, has been gaining traction as a handle material not only for its durability, but the fact that it looks cool – and, when it’s in a transparent configuration as it is here, it allows you to see the internal components underneath. On the Mini Freek, this is especially cool because it provides a rare opportunity to see the spring-powered Axis Lock in action.

Blade-side, Benchmade kept it simple – and by simple we mean they stuck to one of the Mini Freek line’s standard steels, CPM-M4. It may be standard, but that doesn’t mean it’s not special. M4 is among the roughest and tumblest PM steels available, with daunting performance in all the key areas. It is technically a non-stainless formula, but here on the SHOT Show Mini Freek it comes with a singular amethyst hue Cerakote. It’s an eye-catching compliment to those flint chip-style Ultem scales. The SHOT Show Mini Freek is available now at KnivesShipFree – but it won’t be around for long. Don’t miss your chance to grab this very special one-off.
