The Ruger OEM RXM grip measures 1.15″ wide with a rectangular profile and rounded corners. The Sharps RXM grip module is slightly wider at 1.3″ at its broadest point, but its oval contour makes it feel more ergonomic in the hand. Despite being just 0.15 cubic inches larger in volume – a difference about the size of a pencil eraser – it offers a far more natural grip. They also steepened the grip angle to 15 degrees, promoting better wrist alignment, quicker sight picture, and improved recoil control.
Precision Machined
Machined from billet 7075 aluminum. This model has a Mil-Spec black anodized finish and features Brazilian Cherry wood grip panels. While all the engineering and technical specs are impressive, it is these grips that caught my eye. Yes, the RXM is a good pistol. But as with all the striker-fired guns in this category, they lack pizzazz. I won’t say they are ugly, but rather that they look boring. Sharps Bros RXM grip module changes that and adds some flair to our EDC.

I received the grip module and found it very easy to swap out. It took me less than ten minutes, and the job was done. Sharps Bros were also kind enough to include a magazine funnel for the module. This magazine funnel enhances speed/reliability when loading. This funnel supports full-sized G17 (17rd) Gen3+ Glock magazines and was simple to install. It is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum, matching the grip module’s material, and finished in black anodizing.
OEM RXM Grip Module
While I like the Ruger RXM out of the box, the addition of the Sharps Bros OEM RXM grip module takes it to a new level. If you are looking to improve your RXM, I suggest a visit to Sharps Bros.
