The Maryville, TN, police department awarded Smith & Wesson a contract in early October to transition the department to Smith & Wesson’s products. The local agency serves Smith & Wesson’s new home in the heart of East Tennessee.

This contract marks an important partnership between Smith & Wesson and the community, highlighting the company’s dedication to supporting local law enforcement. The Maryville Police Department has chosen to transition to the M&P9 M2.0 and Shield Plus series for its primary duty and backup pistols, ensuring its officers are equipped with reliable technology they can trust. In addition, the agency will be integrating the M&P15T SBR for its primary patrol rifles, enhancing the ability to serve and protect the community with confidence.
