Lenco’s New BearCat G2: Top-Of-The-Line Emergency Responder

When law enforcement and rescue teams need to roll into danger and come out on top, they call on Lenco. The Massachusetts-based manufacturer has once again pushed the envelope with its latest BearCat G2. A true multi-mission vehicle designed to handle tactical, fire rescue, and medical response roles in one unstoppable platform.

BearCat G2 Built for Real-World Missions

The four-door BearCat G2 is built around Lenco’s signature hydraulic breaching system, allowing operators to swap in a growing arsenal of tactical and response attachments. The Avon, Colorado Police Department’s new BearCat, for example, includes Lenco’s standard breaching plate, a non-lethal munitions launcher, and a four-way video and audio reconnaissance attachment. Together, these tools let officers manage critical incidents from within the protection of the vehicle. Keeping personnel safer while maintaining full operational control.

Partnering with J&N Tactical, Lenco has also integrated the Draco multi-unit non-lethal system directly into the BearCat’s breaching system. Operators can control the system from inside the vehicle, giving teams faster, more efficient ways to de-escalate high-risk situations.

Medical & Fire Capabilities

This latest BearCat configuration brings tactical emergency medical (TEMS) capabilities to the field. The interior is fully equipped with trauma lighting, power ports for critical care gear, and a medical-ready layout for rapid treatment on scene.

Outside, the BearCat’s front bumper houses Lenco’s water monitor integration. A system originally developed in 2014 that allows coordinated law enforcement and fire response in dangerous environments where structure fires or “fire-as-a-weapon” threats arise. Add in the company’s newest situational awareness suite and advanced emergency lighting, and this BearCat is as ready for disaster relief as it is for tactical operations.

Evolution Through Experience

“Our customers continue to drive the evolution of the BearCat and its increasing role in public safety response,” said Lenny Light, Executive Vice President at Lenco Armored Vehicles. “This multi-mission BearCat is proof of that. It supports tactical missions, emergency medical response, and fire rescue…all in one platform. It’s one of the most capable BearCats we’ve ever built.”

From tactical teams to emergency responders, the BearCat G2 stands as a modern response vehicle built for a world where threats, and missions, are more complex than ever.
