5.11 Expands Professional Services Line with Medical Scrubs

5.11 Tactical has expanded its Professional Services lineup with the introduction of a new collection of premium medical scrubs designed specifically for nurses and frontline healthcare professionals.

The new apparel line builds on the company’s long history of developing purpose-built clothing and gear for professionals working in demanding environments. By entering the medical apparel market, 5.11 is broadening its Professional Services portfolio, which already includes products for law enforcement, EMS, security personnel, and other public service professionals.

Designed With Real Input

The new scrubs were developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals to address the realities of modern hospital environments. That includes long shifts, constant movement, and the need for comfort, durability, and a professional appearance throughout the workday.

“Healthcare professionals don’t choose the easy path. They choose a profession built on service and showing up for others when it matters most,” Troy Brown, CEO of 5.11, said. “At 5.11, we believe growth lives on the other side of challenge. That’s what Challenge Possible means. It’s why we’re proud to build purpose-built gear for healthcare professionals who live that belief every single day.”

Made To Move

The collection incorporates lightweight stretch fabrics designed to maximize mobility while maintaining durability. Additional features include moisture-wicking technology to help keep wearers comfortable during extended shifts, antimicrobial fabric treatments, and ripstop construction intended to improve garment longevity. The scrubs are also designed to resist wrinkles and maintain a polished appearance throughout the day.

The initial collection includes short-sleeve scrub tops along with both traditional and jogger-style pants for men and women. The garments are offered in six hospital-approved color options: Pacific Navy, Black, Ciel Blue, Royal Blue, Storm, and Burgundy.

Ever Expanding

The launch represents another step in 5.11’s continued expansion into professional workplace apparel, allowing healthcare systems to source uniforms across multiple departments—from security and emergency medical personnel to environmental services, administrative staff, and now clinical caregivers.

The new 5.11 medical scrubs are available through participating hospital partners, select wholesale distributors, and directly through 5.11’s website.
