On the last episode of “As The Florida State Seminoles Turn,” FSU had just fired their athletic director, Michael Alford.

Part of the reason why this news was so significant to Noles fans is because Alford was the man who gave head coach Mike Norvell his now infamous contract extension, making him practically unfireable from a monetary perspective.

While that buyout still looms over the university and its boosters, the Florida State faithful may have gotten a small bit of news that their master plan of moving on from coach Norvell is in motion.

FLORIDA STATE FANS PINING FOR JIMBO FISHER’S RETURN ARE LIVING IN THE PAST, NOT IN REALITY

A video has surfaced on social media of a Seminole fan driving past what appears to be Norvell’s house with a special vehicle parked in the front driveway.

A moving truck? Say it isn’t so!

It’s not just those crazy conspiracy theorists on X that are spreading this rumor, though, as the moving truck video has gained traction on FSU’s subreddit.

So, is this it?

COLLEGE FOOTBALL COACHES ON HOT SEAT: BILL BELICHICK, MIKE NORVELL AND OTHERS FACING MAKE-OR-BREAK 2026

Have the Florida State boosters finally scratched together enough dough to send Norvell packing?

I hate to burst everyone’s bubble in Tallahassee, but the vast majority of college football fans not wearing their garnet and gold tin foil hats all seem to agree that’s a delivery truck.

Mike Norvell, head coach of the Florida State Seminoles, looks on before a game.

Not only is Norvell not going anywhere, but it looks like he’s making himself even more comfortable in his current digs.

And if you don’t believe me, take Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger’s word for it, as he is apparently being told that the Seminole brass still isn’t comfortable paying their head coach’s nearly $50 million buyout.

Do they really like the coach, or do they really like not having to fork over 50 large to have to pay out his contract and then put together a search committee?

So, it sounds like a false alarm from the Florida panhandle as of right now.

No, Mike Norvell isn’t moving in broad daylight in the middle of the week without a formal announcement coming down.

Sorry, Noles fans.

It sounds like you’ll have to wait a little longer to move on from the Norvell era, much to your chagrin and much to the glee of all of your rivals.
