3,000 Lumens in Your Pocket

If you are reading this, I probably don’t have to make the case for the importance of flashlights. You might even have a small pile of them that has amassed over the years. With that said, have you made a flashlight part of your regular EDC? The right pocket flashlight serves as an important part of daily carry, whether for power outages, being in the woods later than planned, or low-light shooting scenarios. With its 3,000 lumens, the TORCHY 3K from NEBO fills the bill perfectly.

The NEBO TORCHY 3K

If you are going to carry a flashlight in your pocket daily, it really should be water-resistant. Don’t ask me how I know. Fortunately, the TORCHY 3K features an IPX6-rated water-resistant and impact-resistant anodized aircraft-grade aluminum body. While it won’t resist submersion, it will ensure that you won’t be left with a brick after a good rain.

Speaking of the body, the textured, rubberized grip provides a solid purchase on the light, regardless of conditions. Similarly, when it is time to go hands-free for two-handed jobs, the powerful magnetic base quickly attaches to metallic surfaces.

Perfect for any job or situation, the TORCHY 3K features five adaptable light modes. The modes are powered by Smart Power Control (SPC), allowing seamless transitions between outputs. The output modes include Turbo, High, Medium, Low, and Strobe.

Lumens range from 50 (Low) to 3,000 (Turbo), with a corresponding runtime of 30 seconds (Turbo) to 20 hours (Low). After the 30 seconds in Turbo, the previous mode resumes. Similarly, the beam distance ranges from 20 meters (Low) to 150 meters (Turbo).

To prevent accidental activation of the side-mounted button, a Direct-to-Low activation and PowerSave Lockout mode provide intelligent energy management and secure storage. When the battery begins to run low, the rechargeable battery is quickly powered up via the USB-C charging port.

For pocket carry, you can use the included pocket clip or detach it and drop it in your pocket.

The NEBO TORCHY 3K is a pocket-sized powerhouse.
