Yes, it is true that I am a shotgun nerd—yet I would say justifiably so. Few guns say “stop” like a shotgun. Another strong perk of the shotgun is its utilitarian nature and ability to be run in multiple configurations. An area where shotguns really shine, in my opinion, is in a short-barrel (SBS) configuration. These are excellent fight stoppers and door openers. 7.25″ Barrel
The platform features a 7.25-inch barrel and a compact overall length of approximately 25 inches, supporting effective handling in confined spaces. A cross-bolt safety provides familiar operation, while the 2+1 magazine capacity maintains a straightforward and reliable feeding system. The short-barrel configuration emphasizes balance and controllability rather than maximum capacity or extended reach.
Recoil management and user control are addressed through the use of Hogue OverMolded Rubber Tamer furniture. The fixed stock, pistol grip, and AR-style grip are selected to improve grip security and reduce felt recoil during operation. Finished in black Cerakote for durability and corrosion resistance, THE JACK SBS FS is built to withstand regular use in demanding environments.
