RISE Rev 535 – Quick Install Performance Trigger

RISE Rev 535 – Quick Install Performance Trigger

SHOT Show is always a time when companies share their latest products and innovations. While some are just interesting, there are some releases that make you do a double-take. One item that fell into that category for me this year was the new RISE Rev 535  Slide-and-Snap AR Trigger.

RISE Rev 535 – Installs in Under 60 Seconds

Rise Armament came to SHOT Show 2026 with a solution to a problem most AR owners know well. Upgrading a trigger is great once it is done. Getting there can test your patience. Small pins disappear. Springs launch into orbit. You end up chasing parts across the bench while hoping you did not just scratch your lower. The new RISE Rev 535 Slide-and-Snap AR Trigger is built to skip all that.

The premise is simple. Drop it into a compatible mil-spec lower. Lock it in place. Get back to shooting. Rise designed the Rev 535 around a tool-free install that takes less than a minute. They were running installs in their booth during SHOT. The fastest time posted was under 12 seconds. Most installs do not require you to remove the grip or the safety selector. That matters for anyone who has spent time wrestling those parts into place. The Rev 535 uses built-in pins instead of loose hardware or set screws. No threadlocker. No anti-walk pins to line up, and no fiddling with tiny parts on a cluttered bench. The design keeps the trigger secure without the usual anti-rotation hardware.

Performace

From a performance standpoint, Rise calls this a second-generation design. It builds on the RA-535 Advanced Performance Trigger. That unit earned a reputation for a crisp single-stage break with no take-up and a fast reset. The Rev 535 aims to deliver that same character. The difference is how quickly you can get it installed and running.

In real-world terms, you spend less time turning wrenches and more time behind the gun. The clean break improves precision, and the short reset allows faster follow-up shots. That combination is what most shooters want from a single-stage setup in the first place.

Interchangeable Blade Faces

Rise also added some flexibility with interchangeable blade faces. The Rev 535 ships with both flat and curved options. You can swap between them in seconds. The system uses their TorLok technology. It combines mechanical engagement with magnetic retention to hold the blade in place. No tools required.

That feature gives shooters some room to tune the feel. A flat face can offer more deliberate control. A curved blade may feel more familiar to some users. If you are running multiple uppers for different roles, you can adjust the lower to match your needs without committing to one style.
