The Clintons Refuse To Testify To Congress In Epstein Investigation

The Clintons Refuse To Testify To Congress In Epstein Investigation

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, have refused to testify to Congress in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the government’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case could result in a subpoena of the Clintons.

The refusal comes as the Justice Department continues to release thousands of pages of files from its Epstein investigation. The first batch, made public in December 2025, featured numerous photographs of Bill Clinton with Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, none of which included contextual details or dates. –RT.

The investigation is headed by Chairman James Comer, a Kentucky Republican. Comer left an empty chair at the deposition table to mark the former president’s absence, expressed disappointment, and pledged a committee vote next week to hold Bill Clinton in contempt, according to a report by RT.

Comer said he only wants to talk to the Clintons. No accusations have been made. “No one’s accusing Bill Clinton of anything, any wrongdoing. We just have questions,” Comer told reporters.

Even though the committee has scheduled depositions for both of the Clintons, they have stated that the subpoenas are “unenforceable.” In both an eight-page legal letter and a separately signed public statement, the Clintons declared the subpoenas “invalid and legally unenforceable.”

The Clintons’ connection to Epstein dates back to the 1990’s. Flight logs show Clinton and his entourage took multiple international trips on Epstein’s private jet – often referred to as the “Lolita Express”.

If the full House votes for contempt, the Justice Department would decide whether to prosecute.

“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences,” the Clintons wrote. How exactly is avoiding an investigation “fighting for this country?” If you know, tell us in the comments because we can’t figure it out.
