First Look: Nextorch P21 Light
Nextorch Industries has just launched a new tactical light, the Nextorch P21 Shield Light. The P21 is an upgraded version of the older Nextorch P20 models, and this new unit is a state-of-the-art shield light with a 3,000-lumen, white-light, high-intensity output.
The Nextorch P21 has a square body with mounting holes and clamps and two light heads that beam out a bright, high intensity white light. The Nextorch P21’s external housing is built around hard use law enforcement situations and has an IPX8 impact, dust and waterproof resistance rating, and it can also withstand a hard drop from 1 meter in height. Nextorch designed the P21 external housing to remain as compact as possible so as to not hinder maneuverability with any bullet-resistant shield it may be bolted on to and to avoid clashing with other tactical gear. Without its battery, the Nextorch P21 weighs just under one pound, coming in at 14 ounces. The Nextorch P21 is powered by a single 21700 rechargeable battery that provides 2 hours and 15 minutes of runtime on high intensity mode and 6 hours on strobe mode. The battery uses a standard USB-C cable to recharge.
Nextorch Improvements from P20 to new P21:
- Increased brightness: The P21 delivers a powerful 3000-lumen output, providing intense and clear illumination.
- Improved beam distance and intensity: The P21 offers a beam reach of 250 meters and an intensity of 15,625 candela, ensuring better visibility and detail at a distance.
- Enhanced battery life: Extended runtime capabilities ensure the P21 operates effectively during prolonged missions.
- More durable design: The P21’s improved durability, with an IPX4 water resistance rating, makes it more robust in challenging conditions.
“The Nextorch P21 is an advanced tactical shield light, designed to provide superior illumination and versatility for law enforcement and tactical operations,” said Jordan Brothers, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Nextorch.
