Iran Continues To Warn Israel After Bombing The Iranian Embassy In Damascus
Iran is still warning Israel with the same and so far empty threat of retaliation for the bombing of its embassy in Damascus Syria. Tehran still feels obligated to punish Israel for attacking its diplomatic mission in Syria because the United Nations Security Council has failed in its duty, Tehran’s mission to the global organization said on Thursday.
“Had the UN Security Council condemned the Zionist regime’s reprehensible act of aggression on our diplomatic premises in Damascus and subsequently brought to justice its perpetrators, the imperative for Iran to punish this rogue regime might have been obviated,” the mission posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that Israel “must and shall be punished” for what it did. Israeli and US intelligence have fueled speculation that possible reprisals could entail anything from drone attacks to ballistic missile strikes.
Israel has been bracing for some kind of response for over a week, with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) canceling all leave and starting to spoof GPS signals. The United States even warned Israel that Iran could attack within 48 hours. It looks like it’s been an empty threat, as it’s been over a week now and Iran has yet to retaliate, however, the rhetoric is pushing up the fear-mongering of a widening regional conflict.

CIA Warns Israel of Potential Retaliatory Strike By Iran
Israeli and U.S. intelligence have fueled speculation that possible reprisals could entail anything from drone attacks to ballistic missile strikes. U.S. intelligence officials have warned of an imminent Iranian strike within 24-48 hours, following the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and the feast of Eid-al-Fitr, which ended Wednesday, April 10th. Ramadan ended on Tuesday, April 9th, and there has still been no strike.
There still could be, and the U.S. could be wrong. Or Iran could be making intentionally empty threats to gin up fear. It’s hard to say what will happen, but keep your eyes on it. Stay alert and be aware of the possibility but don’t succumb to the fear the media is currently using.
