First Look: Safariland IncogX Holsters for Smith & Wesson Handguns
The Safariland Group has released several new versions of its inside the waistband (IWB) concealment holster, the IncogX, to fit a range of handguns made by Smith & Wesson.
Safariland’s IncogX concealed carry holster was designed in collaboration with Haley Strategic Partners, of Travis Haley fame, and now owners of Smith & Wesson M&P Shields, M&P Shields Plus, M&P Shield EZs or standard M&P series handguns can use these holsters.
“We are thrilled to provide Safariland and Haley Strategic customers with new fits for their favorite firearms,” said Tim Drnec, VP of Marketing for Safariland. “The IncogX, with its advanced features and exceptional versatility, ensures that users can carry their Smith & Wesson handguns confidently and comfortably.”
Safariland IncogX concealed-carry holsters are designed with a slew of features, including compatibility with modern slide-mounted electronic reflex sights on pistols, both those with slimmer footprints and those with standard width footprints. Along with a clearance for mounted red-dot optics, the IncogX’s sight channel provides .406 inch of clearance, enough for any suppressor or tall-height back-up iron sights that are typically seen paired with mounted optics. The exterior of the holster’s body is made from Boltaron, while the interior is suede lined like many other holsters in Safariland’s product catalog. Additionally, the IncogX comes with three different sizes of concealment enhancing clip strut shims, an option for an additional magazine caddy attachment, over the belt polymer concealment clips and passive retention that covers the trigger guard of the handgun along with its ejection port area.
Besides these new fits for Smith & Wesson compact carry guns, the Safariland IncogX is already available for a wide variety of carry guns for sold by major firearms manufacturers. Retail pricing for the IncogX holster starts at $92.50. To learn more about the IncogX or other holsters and accessories sold by The Safariland Group, visit safariland.com.
