Bergara B-14 HMR – A Precision Rifle that Won’t Break the Bank

For those who have an interest in entering the precision shooting world, one thing quickly jumps out. Price. It seems that accuracy comes at a price, and it can be a barrier for many. As a long-time lover of long-range art, I have shot countless rifles. I am here to tell you that there is a rifle out there that will serve you well. Also, it will still not break the bank. The rifle is the  Bergara B-14 HMR.

Bergara B-14 HMR – Spanish Precision

Completely built at the Bergara, Spain, facility, the HMR is a huge addition to the incredible lineup of rifles in the B14 Series. It is a feature-rich rifle, designed to meet the needs of hardcore shooters. In addition, it appeals to precision rifle shooters, and those desiring absolute quality and accuracy.

The B14 HMR features a solid, molded synthetic stock with a built-in, machined-aluminum mini-chassis. The sturdy aluminum mini-chassis is integrated into the HMR stock through precise molding and machining. Furthermore, it is designed to provide repeatable bedding for each B14 action installed on the rifle. It also allows the support to fully free-float the Bergara Barrel, ensuring extreme accuracy for this rifle. The world-renowned Bergara barrel, produced using a proprietary vertically honed, button rifled barrel, on the HMR is designed to be light enough for a hunter to carry. Yet, it is heavy enough to deliver the utmost in performance and precision.

Finish

The finish of the stock on the HMR is completed using a multiple-stage method. This gives it proper texture and adds protection to the stock itself. The HMR uses a precision-machined bottom metal and is designed to accept AICS-style magazines. The rear stock of the HMR is specifically created to offer a multitude of adjustments. It can be fit for many different types of shooters, both right and left-handed. Besides this, the cheek piece, or cheek riser, is fully adjustable up and down to accommodate proper eye alignment with the optic for different-sized shooters.

The length of pull is fully adjustable for shooters of all sizes. Equally as important, most of the quick adjustments can be made completely by hand, and without the requirement of a tool. The stock offers multiple flush cup mounts for QD attachments, as well as multiple sling swivel studs for traditional bipod and sling attachments. Additionally, the HMR stock is created and precisely machined to reduce weight, yet offer extreme functionality for every shooter out there.

Multiple Calibers

The Bergara B14 HMR was initially offered in .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor, but now they have six additional calibers. The rifle utilizes the world-famous Bergara barrel and is backed by a 100% accuracy guarantee. The Bergara barrel is produced using a proprietary vertically honed button rifled barrel and is threaded 5/8″x24 to accept most compatible muzzle devices and suppressors. Moreover, all B14 HMR’s are guaranteed to produce sub-1.0 MOA groups, or less, at 100 yards using factory match-grade ammunition.
